Former Deputy Chief Minister Chhagan Chandrabhaga Chandrakant Bhujbal was inducted in the Maharashtra State Cabinet as a Minister on Tuesday, May 20. Maharashtra Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan administered the oath of office and secrecy to the former Deputy Chief Minister Chhagan Bhujbal at a brief oath taking ceremony held at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on Tuesday, May 20.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Ministers in the State Cabinet and other invitees were present.
The oath taking ceremony began with Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik seeking the Governor’s permission to commence the ceremony. The Governor then administered the oath to Chhagan Bhujbal.
Many citizens visit the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation headquarters building for various purposes, and since this building is of iconic design, various dignitaries and tourists also come to see the headquarters building. Since this building is a magnificent and distinctive circular structure, directional signs have been installed here to help citizens understand which department is on which floor and in which direction. Information about this has also been displayed on digital screens.
In order to utilize more up-to-date technology, a kiosk-style 'navigation screen' has been installed, making it easier for citizens to find the department and officer's office they want.
