A 24-hour water cut has been announced in several parts in Navi Mumbai from noon on May 14 to noon on May 15. It is being done to carry out important repair work on the Morbe main water pipeline, as per the report by Lokmat.

The pipeline that brings water to the city from the Bhokarpada Water Treatment Plant has been leaking consistently, especially near Agroli Bridge and under Chikhale village. To solve this problem for good, the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation is now starting the second phase of the pipeline replacement work.
