To reduce the extra rush of passengers during the summer season, Central and Konkan Railways will run special trains from Mumbai to Madgaon. Passengers going to Konkan during the summer vacation will benefit from the summer special train.
Train No. 01104/01103 Madgaon to Lokmanya Tilak Terminus to Madgaon Junction Weekly Special Train will run. Train No. 01104 Madgaon to Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Weekly Special Train will depart from Madgaon Junction every Sunday at 4.30 pm from April 6 to May 4. This train will arrive at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 6.25 am the next day.
Train No. 01103 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus to Mardgaon Weekly Special Train will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus every Monday at 8.20 am from April 7 to May 5 and arrive at Madagaon at 9.40 pm. This train will stop at Karmali, Thivi, Sawantwadi Road, Kudal, Sindhudurg, Kankavali, Vaibhavwadi Road, Rajapur Road, Vilawade, Adawali, Ratnagiri, Sangameshwar Road, Chiplun, Khed, Mangaon, Roha, Pen, Panvel and Thane stations.
This train will have 20 LHB coaches. The composition will be as follows: 1 second class air-conditioned coach, 3 third class air-conditioned coaches, 8 sleeper coaches, 4 general coaches, 2 third class economy coaches, 1 generator car coach, 1 SLR coach.
The Konkan Railway administration informed that the reservation for both these trains will start on April 2 on the IRCTC website, Passenger Reservation System (PRS).
